以下のとおり、EMBO-JSTプログラムについてご案内します。
Today, I am delighted to announce that within the JST-EMBO partnership, JST-funded researchers in the life sciences are eligible to apply for EMBO’s Scientific Exchange Grants (SEG) that support research exchanges of up to three months between laboratories in eligible countries. The grants facilitate collaborations with research groups with expertise, techniques, or infrastructure that is unavailable in the applicant’s laboratory. They cover travel and subsistence costs of the fellow.
Applications for EMBO’s Scientific Exchange Grants are accepted throughout the year, but for JST researchers, the visit must be completed by the end of March 2026.
On 3rd June 2025, from 4:00 PM to 5:00PM JST, EMBO and JST will host an informational webinar for JST-funded researchers to provide more insights into EMBO’s SEGs. The webinar will cover the application process, feature a recent SEG awardee share his experiences how he benefitted from the SEG, and include ample of time for Q&A.
